About Lauren
I was raised in Denton County, Texas and come from a large tight knit family that values God, hard work, and integrity. Starting horseback from a young age, I developed a passion and love for the horse that has never left me. It has ingrained within me an ability to communicate and understand not only horses but people on a more intimate level. I have learned that with hard work, patience, and determination, anything can be accomplished.
Becoming a mother has been the greatest blessing that God has gifted me and now being able to share the love and passion of horses with my daughter, while competing alongside her, is a true honor.
I am a firm believer in balance and that to truly achieve success, one must keep their mind, body, and soul healthy. I have found that fitness training and distance running have provided an avenue to keep my body fit and something I truly enjoy. Bible study and my quiet morning time with God nurtures my soul. In my downtime, I love to read, fish, listen to live music, and enjoy Mexican food and a good Marg! I have to admit when in Vegas put it all down on red and a shot of Pendleton.
I consider it a privilege to be able to share my gifts to serve the equine industry. Each and every encounter, horse and human, is truly an honor. It’s all about the journey.
