About Lola
Hi, I am Lola Riley Parnell, and I am 10yrs old. I have been riding horses since I was born, and I love all things horses. In the last 2 years I have had the opportunity to compete on a very high level on large platforms with large audiences. These experiences have taught me how to handle winning and losing with grace, trusting the process, and letting the journey teach me. God has gifted me with the ability to jockey some great equine athletes and I will never take a day in the saddle for granted.
When I am not horseback, I love gymnastics, fishing, dancing, and hanging with my friends from school.
One of my favorite things about having the opportunity to barrel race and rodeo competitively all over the United States is the people I can meet and the friends along the way that become family. Being kind and helpful is the most important trait I think when you are in the realm of rodeo. This sport is hard, it is humbling, and I thank God everyday for the opportunity to do it. It has taught me hard work, dedication, to never give up, and has made my faith in Jesus very strong.
